HoopaZ secures government R&D funding for smart basketball system.
We are incredibly proud that HoopaZ has officially received the R&D funding certificate (BSFZ), commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space, for our ambitious research and development project until the end of 2026.
HoopaZ is far more than a tabletop basketball game. It's the world's first smart mini-basketball system that combines physical play, digital connectivity, and AI-powered data analysis. Beyond the tabletop system, the project also focuses on seamlessly connecting to full-size basketball hoops, bridging the gap between play and training. This approach allows HoopaZ to contribute to the development of young players and foster future basketball talent.
And now – with official federal funding – this vision is taking its next big step. This milestone confirms what we believed from the beginning: HoopaZ is setting new standards in how basketball can be experienced, analyzed, and lived.
